
Sunnie Yoh's Research Focus
The overarching goal of my research is to understand regulatory networks operating on innate immune responses in distinguishing self from non-self stimuli and their contributions to development of autoimmune and neuro-degenerative diseases. Through combination of system-based and mechanistic approach, I study the regulatory protein complexes of innate immune pathways and exploit the protein interaction interfaces to identify small molecules with therapeutic potentials in various immune based diseases and treatment.
